Alan joined the Probation Board for NI in 1974 after four years as a Probation Officer in Merseyside. Area Manager (Middle Manager) with PBNI for over 25 years and for last 10 years in specialist post as Lifer Manager.
Former member of Committee on the Administration of Justice and long term commitment to a humane and human rights based Criminal Justice System. NIACRO Executive Committee member since 1998.
