A graduate of Queen's University, Donna is currently an Assistant Director with the Simon Community Northern Ireland. In this role she is involved in leading and developing housing and support services along with contributing to the organisation's strategic direction.
Prior to joining the Simon Community she was seconded to the policy division of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive where she developed guidelines for staff in relation to involvement in MASRAM, (multi-agency procedures for assessment and management of sex offenders) provided training in relation to these procedures and was instrumental in development of multi-agency work between the regional Housing Authority and the relevant statutory agencies. She worked previously within the Probation Service as a specialist Facilitator at the Alderwood clinic from 1997 and as team leader there from 2002-2004.
Donna has extensive knowledge in the area of work with offenders in general and sexual and violent offenders in particular.
