Independent Visitor (IV) Independent Representative (IR)
To provide a befriending service, support and encouragement to children/young people who have infrequent or poor contact with their family.

Adult Mentor (APAC) Befriender (Family Links)
To meet and act as a mentor to a participant who may have been involved in anti-social behaviour or an ex-prisoner/ex-offender, on an individual basis and offer support with reintegration in their community.

 To meet and befriend an adult family member of a prisoner/young person in custody, who may feel isolated or distanced from their family or community.

Befriender (Caps) Transport Assistant  
To meet and befriend a parent/family member of a child attending Child and Parent Support (Caps) who may benefit from support.

 To provide transport for families and/or children to and from Prison visits (Family Links), also for children (8-13 yrs) and their families to and from Caps meetings (Caps)
   
Volunteer Support Tutor (Jobtrack) Befriending Support Volunteer (Youth Employability)
To support and assist adult ex-offenders to develop skills and confidence in preparation for employment, education or training.
