Leon, an Eastern European national, had a history of offending and addiction issues. However, upon release from prison, he was determined to move on and referred himself to the NIACRO Jobtrack programme.
With the help of a NIACRO Employment Officer, Leon has been undertaking a series of qualifications ranging from ECDL to Level 3 Literacy qualifications, in addition to courses to improve his language skills.
Leon is keen for any form of employment at present and is applying for entry-level positions in warehouses and with various trades. In the meantime, with the assistance of the Jobtrack programme, he is continuing his education and working to enhance his skills set. He is keen to move away from offending behaviour and make a real contribution to the country he has chosen to live in.
